Golden Visa Assistance in Dubai

Long-term UAE residency for investors, entrepreneurs, and skilled professionals. Expert guidance on eligibility, documentation, and application from start to finish.

Golden Visa Dubai — the UAE's long-term residency programme — grants 5 or 10-year renewable residency to qualifying investors, entrepreneurs, skilled professionals, and exceptional talents. Unlike standard investor visas or employment visas, the Golden Visa does not require renewal tied to an active trade licence or employer. It gives holders and their families stable, long-term legal status in the UAE — an increasingly attractive proposition for business owners, high-net-worth individuals, and professionals who want to plant roots in Dubai without the uncertainty of standard visa cycles. Once you have your Golden Visa, our team also assists with corporate banking, accounting, and PRO services to keep your Dubai business running smoothly.

Eligibility Categories

Investors — Property (AED 2M+)

Holders of UAE real estate valued at AED 2 million or more (completed, not off-plan). From 2026, mortgaged properties qualify if the owner has paid at least 50% of the property value and meets the AED 2M threshold. One of the most accessible pathways. Over 60% of Golden Visas issued via property investors.

Investors — Business / Public Investment (AED 2M+)

Individuals who invest a minimum of AED 2 million in approved UAE public investment funds, existing businesses, or as co-founders with a qualifying equity stake. The investment must be maintained for the visa duration.

Entrepreneurs — Revenue-Generating Businesses

Founders of UAE-registered startups with annual revenue of AED 1 million or more, or businesses valued at AED 500,000+ endorsed by an accredited UAE accelerator or innovation hub. The business must be owned by the applicant and genuinely operational.

Skilled Professionals (AED 30,000+ salary)

Professionals holding a valid employment contract with a monthly salary of AED 30,000 or above in a priority sector, with a Level 1 or Level 2 educational qualification on the UAE National Qualifications Framework. Sectors include technology, engineering, healthcare, education, legal, and finance.

Scientists and Researchers

Individuals recognised by UAE governmental scientific bodies, holders of doctoral or post-doctoral qualifications, or researchers with a proven publication record in priority scientific disciplines. Endorsement from the UAE Ministry of Education or relevant authority is required.

Outstanding Students

UAE secondary school graduates in the top 5% of their class from an accredited institution, and international university students studying at a UAE-accredited institution with a GPA of 3.75 or above. Graduates from the world's top 100 universities with outstanding academic records may also qualify.

Humanitarian Contributors and Content Creators

Individuals who have made significant contributions to humanitarian causes and have official recognition from a UAE authority. Content creators with substantial UAE or regional audiences can apply through the dedicated Creators HQ programme, which provides an endorsement pathway for influencers and digital creators.

Frequently asked questions

Who qualifies for the Golden Visa in Dubai?

Qualifying categories include real estate investors (AED 2M+ in completed property), public investment depositors, established entrepreneurs, skilled professionals in priority fields, and exceptional talents. Criteria are set by the UAE government and may be updated.

Is a trade licence sufficient to apply for a Golden Visa?

Simply holding a trade licence does not automatically qualify you. Business owner pathways typically require demonstrating an established, revenue-generating company, or you may qualify through a separate category such as real estate investment.

How long does Golden Visa processing take?

Processing typically takes 2–6 weeks from complete application submission, depending on the category and document completeness. We track status actively and follow up with authorities.

Can my family be included on my Golden Visa?

Yes. Golden Visa holders can sponsor their spouse, children, and in some cases domestic staff for residency of the same duration. We handle family member applications in parallel.

What is the difference between a Golden Visa and an investor visa?

An investor visa is tied to an active trade licence and is typically valid for 2–3 years. A Golden Visa is self-sponsored, valid for 5 or 10 years, and does not depend on a trade licence being active.

Do I need to live in Dubai to maintain my Golden Visa?

Golden Visa holders can generally stay outside the UAE for longer periods than standard visa holders without losing their residency status. Specific rules apply and may differ by category.

How much does the Golden Visa cost?

Government fees for Golden Visa applications vary by category. Contact us for a current fee breakdown tailored to your specific qualifying pathway.

Can I get a Golden Visa with a mortgaged property in Dubai?

Yes, from 2026. Mortgaged properties qualify provided you have paid at least 50% of the total property value (minimum AED 1 million on a AED 2M property) and the total value meets or exceeds AED 2 million. A letter from your bank confirming the outstanding mortgage and paid amount is required as part of the application.

What salary do I need for the professional / skilled worker Golden Visa?

The skilled professional pathway requires a minimum monthly salary of AED 30,000 and a Level 1 or Level 2 educational qualification under the UAE National Qualifications Framework. A valid UAE employment contract in a priority sector is also required. This pathway does not require property ownership or business investment.

Is there an absence limit for Golden Visa holders?

No. Unlike standard UAE residency visas, the Golden Visa has no absence limit. You can remain outside the UAE for extended periods without losing your Golden Visa status. This is one of the most significant practical advantages of the Golden Visa over standard investor and employment visas.

How many Golden Visas has the UAE issued?

The UAE has issued over 150,000 Golden Visas since the programme launched in 2019. The programme has expanded steadily, with new categories and simplified procedures introduced in 2022, 2024, and 2026.

What is the Creators HQ programme for content creators?

Creators HQ is a UAE government initiative that provides a Golden Visa pathway for social media influencers and digital content creators. Applicants with a substantial UAE or regional audience and endorsement from the relevant UAE authority can apply through this dedicated programme. Contact us for current eligibility criteria.

Can my parents be sponsored on my Golden Visa?

Yes. Golden Visa holders can sponsor both parents for UAE residency of equivalent duration. This is an expansion of the standard investor visa sponsorship rules, which are typically limited to a spouse and children. Sponsor of domestic staff is also permitted.
